Malcolm passed away gently and quietly on Tuesday 3rd March 2026 aged 79 years, at Macclesfield District General Hospital with his loving wife Caroline by his side.

The cherished husband of Caroline, dad to Matthew & Oliver and stepdad to Gary, much loved Grandad of William and Ella and respected brother to Sheila.

Malcolm will be lovingly remembered for his sense of humour, love of gardening and his greenhouse and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.

The funeral will be held at St Mary’s Church, Astbury at 12 noon on Tuesday 31st March 2026. Will friends please accept this notice as an invitation to join us in celebrating Malcolm’s life.

The family are truly grateful for all the kind messages of condolences and cards that have been sent in Malcolm’s memory.

We request that instead of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer’s Society. A donation box will be available at the service, however donations can be sent via the funeral directors.
