George passed away peacefully on Saturday 31st May 2025 at Macclesfield District General Hospital surrounded by his loving family, aged 87.

The dearly loved husband of Norma, loving Dad to David, Diane and Paul, respected father-in-law to Andrew and Kim, much loved Grandad of Kelly, Nikki, Jessica, George, Kian and Great Grandad to Thomas and Archer respected Brother and Uncle.

George will be lovingly remembered for his warm personality, friendly smile, love of gardening and strength of character and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.

The funeral will be held at Macclesfield Crematorium, at 11:30am on Thursday 19th June 2025. Please accept this notice as an invitation to join us in celebrating George’s life.

The family have requested bright colours to be worn.

We request that instead of flowers, donations can be made to The Christie Charity and the British Heart Foundation. A donation box will be available at the service; however donations can be sent via the funeral directors.
