Elizabeth passed away peacefully on Monday 8th June 2026 at Astbury Mere Care Home surrounded by her loving family, aged 78.

The cherished wife of Ray, loving mum to Helen, dear mother-in-law of Mark and much loved Grandma of Leah & Jonah.

Liz will be lovingly remembered for her fun & warm nature, her strength of character, her love of horses, dogs & gardens and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her.

The funeral will be held at Birches Crematorium, Northwich, at 11.30am on Wednesday 1st July 2026. Will friends please accept this notice as an invitation to join us in celebrating Liz’s life.

The family are truly grateful for all the kind messages of condolences and cards & flowers that have been sent in Liz’s memory.

We request that instead of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society and Dementia UK in memory of Liz. A donation box will be available at the service, however donations can be sent via the funeral directors.
