Derek passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday 8th May 2024 at The Christie, Manchester surrounded by his loving family, aged 74.

The loving Dad to Frazer, Natalie & Debbie, respected father-in-law to Katja, Geoff & Jamie, much loved Grandad of Lewiis, Keely, Liam & Eleni, Great Grandad of Carter, dearly loved brother & friend.

Derek will be lovingly remembered for his sense of humour & friendly smile. He had a love of the outdoors and hobbies of playing darts, fishing, shooting & walking. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.

The funeral will be held at Birches Crematorium, Northwich, at 2.30pm on Thursday 30th May 2024. Will friends please accept this notice as an invitation to join us in celebrating Derek’s life.

The family are truly grateful for all the kind messages of condolences and cards that have been sent in Derek’s memory.

We request that instead of flowers, donations can be made to Diabetes UK. A donation box will be available at the service, however donations can be sent via the funeral directors.
