Dave passed away peacefully on Sunday 9th November 2025 at St Luke’s Hospice surrounded by his loving family, aged 68.

The cherished husband of Hilary, loving father to Steven, cherished father-in-law to Kate, much loved brother to Gary, Mandy, Jo and John and nephew to Eileen and John.

Dave will be lovingly remembered for his sense of humour, warm personality, love of motorbikes and music, strength of character, words of wisdom, unassuming nature and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.

The funeral will be held at Birches Crematorium, Lach Dennis, at 3pm on Wednesday 26th November 2025. Will friends please accept this notice as an invitation to join us in celebrating Dave’s life.

The family are truly grateful for all the kind messages of condolences and cards that have been sent in Dave’s memory.

We request that instead of flowers, donations can be made to St Luke’s Hospice. A donation box will be available at the service, however donations can be sent via the funeral directors.
