David passed away peacefully but unexpectedly on Tuesday 27th May 2025 at Home, aged 83.

The cherished husband of Doreen, loving father to Peter and Jane, much loved Grandad of Ben and Zoe and brother to Eddie and Ronnie. Loving Uncle and Great-Uncle to his many nieces and nephews across the world and a respected friend and work colleague to many.

David will be lovingly remembered for his words of wisdom, many stories, his love of books, stamps and jigsaws and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.

The funeral will be held at Birches Crematorium, Lach Dennis, at 11am on Tuesday 17th June 2025. Will friends please accept this notice as an invitation to join us in celebrating David’s life.

The family are truly grateful for all the kind messages of condolences and cards that have been sent in David’s memory.

We request that instead of flowers, donations can be made to The Christie Charity. A donation box will be available at the service, however donations can be sent via the funeral directors.
