Barbel passed away peacefully on Tuesday 12th March 2024 at East Cheshire Hospice surrounded by her loving family and friends, aged 82.

The cherished wife of William, loving mum to Marc and Billy, loved mother in law to Sharon and Paula, much loved Nan of the late Ben and Joe, Billy, Morgan, Tilly, Bertie, Ruth and Maddy, much loved sister to Doris and will be fondly remembered by Denise.

Barbel will be lovingly remembered for her warm personality and strength of character and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her.

The funeral will be held at Birches Crematorium, Northwich, at 12 noon on Thursday 4th April 2024. Following the service everyone is warmly invited to continue sharing memories of Barbel, at Congleton Cricket Club from 1.30pm.

The family are truly grateful for all the kind messages of condolences and cards that have been sent in Barbel’s memory.

We request that instead of flowers, donations can be made to East Cheshire Hospice. A donation box will be available at the service, however donations can be sent via the funeral directors.
