Who We Are

Larvin-Clegg Funeral Directors is owned and run by husband-and-wife team Abi and Jason Larvin-Clegg.

For us, this is much more than a business. Our family name is above the door, and we take personal responsibility for the care and support we provide to every family who places their trust in us.

We are proud to be a genuinely local family service. Abi’s father, Ian, drives our hearse, while another member of the family helps as one of our coffin bearers.

Being independent means that we can give families the time, attention and flexibility they deserve. We believe that every family is different, every life is unique, and no two funerals need to be the same.

Above all, we want you to feel comfortable talking to us, asking questions and making decisions at your own pace.

Professional Experience, Personal Care

Between us, we have over 30 years of combined experience in funeral services, helping hundreds of local families through some of life’s most difficult moments.

Both Abi and Jason hold professionally recognised funeral qualifications, supported by years of practical experience. Jason also has an academic background in forensic and biomedical science, bringing an additional understanding of the scientific and practical aspects of caring for those who have died.

We believe that professional knowledge and genuine compassion should always go hand in hand.

We are proud members of the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD), reflecting our commitment to recognised professional standards and responsible practice.

Our experience helps us provide clear guidance, explain the choices available and take care of the practical details, allowing families to concentrate on remembering and celebrating the person they have lost.

Our Funeral Home in Congleton

Our funeral home is located on Antrobus Street, in the heart of Congleton.

We have our own dedicated facilities on-site, including a hospital level mortuary, embalming suite and private chapel of rest, allowing us to provide personal and respectful care for loved ones entrusted to us.

We understand how important it is for families to know where their loved one is being cared for, and by whom.

Whether you wish to visit our funeral home, spend some quiet time in our chapel of rest or simply sit down and talk through the arrangements, you will always receive a warm welcome.
