Irene passed away peacefully on Sunday 26th July 2026 at Clayton Manor Care Home surrounded by her loving family, aged 73.

Loving mum, mother in law and gran, cherished sister, auntie and friend.

Irene will be loving remembered for her sense of humour, her loyalty and her fierce spirit and determination and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The funeral will be held at Birches Crematorium, Northwich, at 11am on Friday 21st August 2026. Will friends please accept this notice as an invitation to join us in celebrating Irene’s life.

The family are truly grateful for all the kind messages of condolences and cards that have been sent in Irene’s memory. 

We request that instead of flowers, donations can be made to Chivenor Military Ladies Choir who Irene was big supporter of. A donation box will be available at the service, however donations can be sent via the funeral directors.
