Anthony passed away peacefully on Friday 17th July 2026 at Home as he’d wanted, aged 80.

A loving husband to Jacqueline, dedicated dad of Greg and Iain, much loved Grandad to Oscar, George and Isla.

Anthony will be warmly remembered for his lifelong love of the outdoors and committed friendship. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.

The funeral will be held at Birches Crematorium, Northwich, at 12 noon on Thursday 6th August 2026. Will friends please accept this notice as an invitation to join us in celebrating Anthony’s life.

The family are truly grateful for all the kind messages of condolences and cards that have been sent in Anthony’s memory.

We request that instead of flowers, donations can be made to the Lake District Search & Mountain Rescue Association. A donation box will be available at the service, however donations can be sent via the funeral directors.
